Doctor Shetty has treated cataracts for many years with the latest procedures.

Current treatment involves using a Phacoemulsifier utilizing ultrasound to remove the cataract through a small incision in the eye. A foldable intra-ocular lens implant allows insertion into a smaller incision than allowed in the past. In most cases, the smaller incision eliminates the need for sutures. The smaller incision also grants you quicker healing and recovery.

Now Accomodating lens ("Crystalens") is available
to replace your cataract which will allow you to
see both far and near.
